Hello. I've been using WTFast for going on 3 months now. Starting yesterday, I have been unable to run WTFast. It takes about 2-5 minutes from the time that I right-click the desktop icon and select "run as administrator" to the time I get to the log-in box. When I click login, it initializes until it times out. I did uninstall WTFast today and reinstall it hoping this would correct the problem with no luck. I have also been getting an error since yesterday "IdcProxy" that states "This program cannot run in standalone mode" but I am not certain if it is a WTFast related issue. It doesn't pop up right away when I try to use WTFast or right after WTFast times out. It pops up a few minutes later. A google search for "IdcProxy error" provides no information. A search of these forums for IDC shows results stating that the SSL is being changed, but that's all.
This may or may not be related, but windows vista was updated recently with security updates, IE8, .NET framework, and quite a few others. Is there a specific update from MicroSoft that conflicts with WTFast? MicroSoft be damned, I want my WoW working again
Actually, WoW does work when running without WTFast but I do like my reduced lag too much to give up WTFast
Any assistance you can provide is GREATLY appreciated. I'm trying now to find a list of updates that I can copy and paste in case you want to see what updates were installed.
