If you ever experience latency or disconnects while using WTFast, we recommend simply closing the game and the WTFast client, and then loading WTFast again. When you log into WTFast again, it should dynamically choose for you the best performing WTFast server at that time. So, if there is a WTFast server that is temporarily not performing that well for you, the best alternate server will automatically be chosen!
The connection from your computer to the game server is a complex thing and in some cases our automated system will not make the best choice for you. If you find that WTFast is not getting you good results "out of the box", we recommend trying to connect through a different region/city to see if this helps improve your results. For example, Australian users might see good results connecting through California, while EU users might get better results connecting through Boston/NY.
If you are playing a custom game with no realms/servers listed, we recommend trying the available regions to see which region gets you the best results.
We are always adding more servers to help improve performance and redundancy, so you should continue to see enhanced performance while using WTFast.
Another possibility if you experience latency/spikes during situations when alot of bandwidth is being pushed is that your Internet provider might be limiting traffic on port 10801, this is the port that WTFast uses. We recommend contacting your Internet provider and asking them if they are restricting traffic on port 10801, and to make sure your firewall settings are also allowing the traffic. Examples of situations where you might push lots of bandwidth is in big raids or major PvP battles.
Thanks for your support!
